I've always found it hilarious that ignorant people compare fans of extreme music to "Satanists". Anything these small-minded masses of herd minds cannot pull into their narrow umbrella of understanding, is rejected, labeled, and reviled almost systematically in their mind.
Such people cannot distinguish reality from their self-made, faith induced fantasies - and that's why they're afraid. Religions create narrow lenses and produce the darkest villains in the forms of things they cannot comprehend.
Hellions was written as a parallel comparing the hyper religious perception of a show being a Satanic ritual. What do they see but a bunch of violent "Satanists" in their revel? The fear and trepidation festering in their feeble minds puts judgement at the forefront of their scope, seeking to alienate and condemn the unholy display...
Well, when we wrote Hellions we said, "Let's give them what they want...a fucking horror show!"
